Significance: The Repair Shop's design and construction was supervised by Thomas C. Vint, Chief Architect of the National Park Service, Western Region in San Francisco and Associate Landscape Architect Earnest A. Davidson. It is representative of the expansion of administrative and maintenance facilities at Longmire during the administration of Superintendent O.A. Tomlinson (1923-41).
