Significance: Pueblo del Arroyo is located - as its name implies - on the edge of the Chaco Wash. This site was one of the major Chacoan towns and shares the characteristics of other communal enterprises of this type. The fundamental concept is one of relatively regular formality in plan developed symmetrically on a single axis.
