Building/structure dates: 1870 initial construction
Significance: It is one of three houses built by Captain Lee for himself and his family. Two adjacent houses for his daughters are almost identical to the first house. Believed to have been built in 1870, the entire house was constructed out of pine form a virgin forest bought by Captain Lee in Johnson County, Virginia.
