Significance: Architecturally, the Patterson-Palmer House resembles Williamsburg houses closely. Its interior is particularly spacious and elegant with an unusual lateral hall...A succession of interesting early figures has been associated with the house: Francis Nash, James Patterson, Peter Mallett, William Watters, and James M. Palmer in particular.
