Significance: This Federal style cottage possesses an unusual number of regional characteristics, for example, the exterior paneled dado, the fireplace cabinets, the vaulted ceilings, the plan of the open rear porch recessed between two small rooms. Williamsburg was the first home of the Junkins, a politically and economically influential family.
