Significance: The Veterans Memorial Park and Parkway, M-120 Southbound Bridge derives its significance by its historical association with the Veterans Memorial Park. The park and bridge are early examples of landscape planning and design which gained popularity in the period between the wars. The bridge was constructed utilizing standardized plans developed by the Michigan State Highway Department.
