Notes
Survey number HABS CA-1983
Building/structure dates: 1905 initial construction
Building/structure dates: 1906 subsequent work
Significance: The Migliavacca Building suffered damage due to the 1906 earthquake. At that time the stone cornice and name plate were replaced by pressed sheet metal and the location of the name plate was changed from the center of the south elevation to the southeast corner. Subsequent remodelings (dates unknown) moved the bank entrance from the southeast corner to the south elevation and the corner was modified from a curve to a square shape. What appears to have been the entrance to the second floor was moved from the east elevation to the south elevation, alterations to the second floor were made (Luther Mark Turton, architect). The original plan is on file at the Napa City-County Library.
