Building/structure dates:
1881 initial construction
Significance: Built in 1881, these cottages were owned by William H. Kelley, an early and influential settler of Mendocino. He arrived in 1852 and died in 1895. He owned all of the land west of Lansing St., and north of Main St., and bounded by the ocean.
