Building/structure dates: 1910 initial construction
Significance: A good example of an early 20th-century Beaux-Arts-classical small town Carnegie Library, the building served its original purpose from 1910 until 1975. In 1976 it was entirely occupied by the local historical museum, which formerly occupied the basement only.
