Building/structure dates:
1944 initial construction
Significance: Building 11050, a machine shop, was built in 1944, as part of the original group of public works buildings within the administrative area of the China Lake Pilot Plant facility. The building retains a good degree of integrity (with the exception of minor additions and changes to vents and fenestration) and is consistent with the general design of this part of the pilot plant and is a contributing structure in the historic district.
