Significance: Eastman Hall was built on the grounds of the Rochester Homeopathic Hospital in 1910 and enlarged in 1930. George Eastman, founder of the Eastman Kodak Company and local philanthropist, donated funds to construct the building in honor of his mother, Maria Eastman. The building served as a dormitory and teaching facility for students enrolled in the hospital's training school for nurses. It was demolished in 1996...
