Our Restoration Process

Our maps are processed to maintain the look of an antique map with out the distractions of major imperfections.

Common Imperfections Removed:

• Center Seams (created by folding for long periods of time)
• Watermarks (created by exposure to damp conditions)
• Rips and Tears (removing tear lines and filling in small holes)

Maps are also checked to ensure coloring, background, and overall pigmentation is held constant.
