Beautiful map, but it would be more helpful from an academic perspective if one could actually read the text without such substantial strain.

I am trying to locate a community call Centennial on the Caddo Parish ,Louisiana state line and John Gin Road. It was also called Breakridge Spring located in Panola co.

Centennial is off FM 123 and CR 322 in Eastern Panola County. Johns Gin Road is in Caddo Parish, LA.

I am trying to locate a colord school and church in Deberry Texas between 1890-1930?

I am interested in learning about a lodge that existed on long lake in the early 1900s. The property was owned on this map by O. Gudvangen (sp). From what I was told by the current landowners (Dean and Cora Dversdal) there was a lodge and a tunnel that went out to the lake with a pier and a dance hall. Some of the cabins still exist on the property on the straight river. Any information, or if you can point me in the right direction I would surely appreciate it. Thank you very much. I have 2 old R.R. hanging maps of Wisc. 1904 & 1906. Size about 5x3 ft. Seems to be made of cloth. Are they worth anything?

This is actually South Milwaukee, Wis., looking east toward Lake Michigan. South Milwaukee is a town just south of Milwaukee, as the name implies. This looks to be the old BE (Bucyrus Erie) plant.

Rumor has it that the Souix Indians were in the Wind River area, not the Shashone and the Arapahoe Indians?? I assume this map is right, and author Louis Lamoure goofed....
