Fine Art Print

Your print will be shipped rolled in a tube and can be easily framed. Ships via UPS.

Framed Fine Art Print

The print is surrounded by a wood composite frame that has a smooth black finish, a presentation matte and a durable acrylic glazing.

The image itself will be printed a few inches smaller than the size in order to fit within the opening of the matte.

After wrapping in cusioning plastic, corner protectors will be placed on your frame print before packing in its protective box for shipping. Includes hanging hardware. Shipped via UPS.

Basic Print

Ideal for both advanced research, framing and display, Basic Prints are color prints using the same inks, paper, and technology as our fine-art prints. Their long side has been scaled up or down to fit a 16" wide paper with the short side resized to maintain the proportion of the original image.

To aid those who wish to use Basic Prints as a larger, unwatermarked version of our Research Prints, the map name and item number will appear printed below the long side of the image. This text can easily be trimmed off if you wish to frame the image. Unlike Fine-Art reproductions, Basic Prints are printed without any additional retouching. In most cases, center seams, waterstains, and other imperfections will not be removed, however these attributes yield a product that is remarkably similar to the original antique print. Shipped rolled in a tube via UPS.

Research Print

Research Prints are color prints with a light watermark fitted to 11 in. x 17 in. paper. Ideal for research and educational use, but not suitable for framing.

Orders containing less than 15 research prints will be sent via USPS folded in an envelope. Larger orders will be shipped flat via UPS. The map name and item number will appear printed on the short side of the paper.

All research prints will be printed with a light watermark.
