Significance: Structure GG is a collapsed and filled cistern. The cistern is located near the east end of the broad, flat topped west to east trending linear ridge. The cistern is located in the eastern end of the old Superior townsite. The cistern is a roughly square area 4 feet 4 inches north to south by 4 feet 11 inches east to west. The cistern has been filled to grade level except for a small area along the north edge. No trace of any intact stone work could be identified although several sandstone blocks were recorded. The cistern is in poor condition with little of it remaining intact.
