Significance: The fan house performed a critical function within the complex by providing ventilation to the underground mine workers. // Constructed of cut stone and concrete in its lower level with brick walls above, the lower level was divided into air passageways with doors to regulate the flow of air; contains 10 ft. Stevens fan. Constructed in 1913 as an integral part of the Sublet Mine No. 6, built, operated and owned by Kemmerer Coal Company; ceased production 1927.
