Survey number HABS WV-215
Significance: The building is a typical late-19th-century non-academic Gothic example more characteristic of non-liturgical sects than of Episcopalian churches of the period. The Philadelphia architect supplied plans & specifications for $225 in 1883. The cornerstone was laid in '84, first service was held in uncompleted church in '88, and the church was consecrated on June 9, 1901.
