Unprocessed field note material exists for this structure (N190).
Building/structure dates: 1935 initial construction
Part of building/structure is in Oak Harbor vicinity, Island County, WA.
Significance: This steel cantilever structure and the Canoe Pass steel arch (HAER No. WA-104) are examples of advanced steel bridge construction. They also provide motor vehicle and pedestrian access to isolated Whidbey Island.
