Building/structure dates: 1843 initial construction
Significance: This block of three buildings is the oldest complex used for business purposes in Montgomery County, Tennessee. They bear a remarkable resemblance to Philadelphia stores of the same period, possibly due to the Philadelphia business connections of the merchant for whom they were built.
