Building/structure dates: 1953 initial construction
Significance: The Transmitter Standby Building (Building No. 11002) was built to house radio-based aircraft navigation and communication equipment. It also housed a diesel-powered generator intended to provide an auxiliary electrical power source for adjacent Building No. 11000.
