Significance: Crutchfield Hall is the first permanent boy's dormitory in Oklahoma. During its existence it served as a dormitory, a School of Music building, and an office building serving the College of Engineering, Architecture, and Technology. Crutchfield Hall is the sole surviving example of a pre-1930 utilitarian dormitory that is characteristic of modified Italian Renaissance Revival architecture on the Oklahoma State University Stillwater campus.
