Significance: This apartment building is a contributing building in the Columbus Neat East Side Historic District, a predominately residential area which developed primarily between 1880 and 1930 and which contains those styles favored by the upper middle class during that period. East Main Street is the district's southern boundary and contains both commercial and residential properties.
