Significance: It is comprised of 2 adjacent farmsteads constructed in a traditional, ethnic architectural form that originated in the Black Sea region of Russia and Ukraine. The most distinctive and significant aspects of the property are its architectural form and the means of construction. For many years the complex has been protected, in a sense, by its relative remoteness and by continued occupancy and use of the buildings until very recent years...
