Unprocessed field note material exists for this structure (FN-287).
Significance: According to Dr. Ernest Allen Connally, HABS Architect and Historian, this is one of the oldest (perhaps the oldest) houses in Truro. It is an 18th century Cape Cod "double house," five bay exterior, located within the area of the proposed Cape Cod National Seashore.
