Building/structure dates: 1871 initial construction
Significance: The Adams Mill Bridge is a typical example of the Howe Truss. // Adams Mill Bridge was constructed in 1871 in Carroll County. The bridge used a No. 1 Howe Truss, with wheellock iron abutments. Latter arches were attached to the truss.
