Building/structure dates: 1915 initial construction
Significance: This house is one of the best works of the Prairie School architect, John S. Van Bergen. The strong horizontals of the composition show the influence of Walter Burley Griffin and Frank Lloyd Wright, both of whom employed Van Bergen.
