Significance: Engineering Hall on the campus of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign was completed in 1894 and largely remains in its original condition. Its architect, George Wesley Bullard, was an 1882 graduate of the university who had recently established a practice in Tacoma, Washington...The contract for the building was awarded to C. F. Shultz and Co. of Danville, Illinois in the amount of $121,396...
