Unprocessed field note material exists for this structure (FN-34).
Significance: This structure is an example of late 19th or early 20th century railroad architecture, built to house tools and equipment for railroad workers on a section of rail line. It is now situated on the foundations of the Montour depot, which was a hipped-roof frame building under construction at the time the first town lots were sold in August, 1912.
