Significance: The heating house (switch house) is an original component of the Cove Hydroelectric Development. It exhibits the Mission Revival architecture elements that visually tie the elements of the upper Cove project with those of the power plant and the lower portion of the Cove system. The heating house/switch house aided in the operation of the screen house and intake.
