Building/structure dates: 1934 initial construction
Significance: Used as an administrative structure in support of early Forest Service activities on the Red River Ranger district. Two stall log structure with cement floor. / Logs on cement foundation with wood shingle roof that has been replaced with a metal roof. Has a large sliding door on south side and a metal triangular dormer on roof (not original). Building has a loft and stairway access on the north end. Addition of dormer and replacement of wood shingle roof with metal probably done in early 1980's. Good condition, still used as a garage.
