Unprocessed field note material exists for this structure (FN-49).
Significance: The Ranger Station presently consists of a number of small buildings constructed between 1934-53 which were intended to serve as support structures for Forest Service activities on the Red River Ranger District. / The series of structures are principally constructed of logs on a concrete foundation, with metal roofing material replacing the earlier wood shingles. Buildings are in good condition and include a woodshed, cookhouse, garage and office.
