Building/structure dates: 1916 initial construction
Significance: The Carr, Ryder and Adams Company Office Building is historically significant in its association with one of Dubuque's largest manufacturing firms, although its 1916 construction date places it late in the milieu of the company's development. Architecturally the building is rather nondescript: more ornamented than the surrounding factory structures but hardly a high-style example of design.
