Significance: This property has a historic association with the first radio station at Pearl Harbor. It served as a residence for the Officer in Charge of the radio station until the radio towers were moved to a new location. The building is a simple vernacular design with elements of the Craftsman style. It contributes to the historic interest of the district. The radio station residences have always been considered part of the Hospital Point neighborhood, especially since the relocation of the radio towers in 1937.
