Survey number HABS HI-279-L
Significance: The theater represents a building form which has largely disappeared in Hawaii. It is the best preserved and best designed of the naturally ventilated theater buildings that still exist in the state. The building would also have additional significance for its associations with early base development and the importance of social activities to base life.
