Significance: Originally used as three commercial spaces; James Braswell, barber (well-known black family from Pleasant Hill Historic District); Isaac Bashinski, saloon and restaurant owner who rented rooms; G. S. Alexander, confectioner. Building close to now-demolished Brown Hotel.
