Significance: Building 49, a special purpose warehouse, was built in 1907 of wood heavy timber construction as a saw mill with no architectural significance. The saw mill operated to rebuild the Navy yard and subsequent aeronautical station through 2 severe hurricanes and active development in preparation for World War I. After that time, uses cannot be determined until present.
