Building/structure dates: 1872 initial construction
Significance: A printing shop operated at this address in 1875 according to the D.C. City Directories. The HUB furniture store has occupied the building since 1942. The building occupies two lots. It therefore acquires a majestic scale through repetition of Renaissance-derived ornamentation.
