Significance: Building 201 is a contributing property in the Washington Navy Yard National Historic Landmark. The Washington Navy Yard once served as the center for naval ordnance research and production and is significant for its role in the development of the U.S. Navy. Constructed during World War II, the building played an important support role for maintaining automotive equipment and official cars.
