Building/structure dates: 1881 initial construction
Significance: The building is interesting architecturally for the simulation in wood of urban, masonry, commercial blocks composed of multiple shops. It also illustrates the widespread speculative building enterprises that arose in a new mining camp. Cash apparently erected this building for rental investment.
