Significance: Founded at the turn of the century by an immigrant from Ireland, expanded to become one of the most prosperous in the history of the Pinon Canyon area of Las Animas County. The ranch reflects several outstanding examples of southwestern vernacular architecture, the main residence possesses Hispanic features, including adobe walls, a flat roof and portals, or porches.
