Building/structure dates: 1896 initial construction
Building/structure dates: 1910 subsequent work
Significance: This building is one of the earliest surviving structures in the West Wazee Street District. The structure was originally used as a forge where farm equipment was manufactured. Historical maps indicated that the structure was used for "agricultural implements" until at least 1905.
