Building/structure dates: 1898 initial construction
Building/structure dates: 1941 subsequent work
Significance: This house was the residence of John Degnan, Yosemite's first major concessionaire. Degnan managed a small dairy herd while his wife baked bread for travelers. Degnan's concession developed into one of Yosemite's largest concessions during the early twentieth century.
