Building/structure dates: 1925 initial construction
Significance: At the time it was built, it was the largest swimming pool in the world. It contained a uniquely designed circulation and heating system that kept 6,000,000 gallons of salt water heated, and which utilized the tides of the ocean to fill the pool.
