Building/structure dates: 1854 initial construction
Building/structure dates: 1860 subsequent work
Significance: Known as one of the most beautiful houses in Mendocino, the house was built for Jerome B. Ford, part owner of Mendocino Lumber Company. He lived in the house until 1872. His son, J.C. Ford, lived in it until 1902.
