Building/structure dates: 1934 initial construction
Significance: This bridge and undercrossing are significant as a distinguished example of a grade separation designed by a major City bridge builder. It is also significant architecturally as a composite design incorporating two features: a bridge ornamented with a concrete fascia utilizing common steel girders, and a Romanesque Revival arcaded brick undercrossing. The bridge is Historic-Cultural Monument No. 236 of the City of Los Angeles.
